This photo is of one of the C47's used for BLUESKY. This photo was taken in the summer of 1955 at K14 (Kimpo). At the time of the photo there were three Russian Language Specialists and two Chinese Language Specialists flying daily (six days a week) off the west coast of Korea. The Russian Language Specialists were Albert Mogg, Glenn Gwinn and Dick Wheelock. The Chinese Language Specialists were Robert Lewis and Robert Quinn. The aircraft and aircrew were supplied by the 6148th Tactical Control Sq. These aircraft were intended to be used as airborne control platforms for the T6 "spotter" aircraft.
