Visitation will be held Sunday,April 19, 2009 from 1-8:00 P.M. in the O. J. Carter Memorial Chapel located inside the Carter-Taylor-Williams Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 20, 2009 at 12:00 P.M. from the O. J. Carter Memorial Chapel, located at 601 N. Center Street, San Antonio, Texas. Internment will be at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Flew many a mission in the Far East and South East Asia with Bobby Chew. Bobby was one of those aircrew members, that when you saw his name on the crew list...you immediately felt REAL comfortable...no matter where you were schedule to fly. He was one of a group of "outstanding" Morse intercept operators who racked-up a lot of hours on a lot of missions. Also recall, he had a very subtle wit. He could look you in the eye, be as serious as a preacher, and within seconds have you in stitches with laughter. Bobby Chew was a good man...A VERY GOOD MAN!
