To all oldtimers from Rhein-Main, Incirlik, Offutt, and Yokota operations, I just received a note from Lilian advising that Robert H. "Bob" Bergeron died at his home in Gulf Shores, Alabama on 3 April 2007 after a long illness.

Early Rhein-Mainers will recall that he was the Admiral on a crew that waved goodbye to the crew of 60528 on the morning of 2 September 1958 as they departed on their final mission.
