Alan T. Hieronymus

HIERONYMUS-Alan T., age 60, of Springfield, NE, died on May 7, 2007 after a lengthy illness.

Alan is survived by wife, Ann; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Doug Legge; son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Rachel Hieronymus; sister and brother-in-law, Jodi and Ron Rarick; and step mother, Loretta Hieronymus.

Alan was born in Alameda, CA and went to Cal Poly University, where he met his sweetheart Ann. They were happily married for over 37 years. Alan proudly served his country in the US Air Force 1968-84.

After completing a business degree from Bellevue College he worked in finance for US West, was Hunter Education Coordinator for NE State Game and Parks, and most recently was a finance and tax director at Sitel.

He taught NRA firearm safety and hunter education classes for many years and was widely recognized as a shooting, hunting, camping, fishing, and outdoors enthusiast.

Alan readily shared his time, skills, possessions, and knowledge, and he will be remembered.

Memorials in care of the family will be divided among Alan's favorite organizations.
